About Tennisburrell Academy

Tennisburrell Academy is all about helping casual tennis players new to the game build strong tennis fundamentals. We also provide programs for performance players looking to take their game to a higher level. Whatever your skill level, Tennisburrell takes a refreshing enthusiastic approach to tennis instruction that is certain to help you improve your abilities and appreciation for the sport.

Roland Burrell

The founder of Tennisburrell Academy, Roland Burrell, has 17 plus years of tennis experience. He is a Level 1 Tennis Canada Certified Coach, USPTA Level 2 Professional, head tennis professional at Tuxedo Tennis Club, and has coached the Manitoba Provincial Junior Team.

Roland started his tennis career with the Jamaican Junior National Team and continues to compete in singles and doubles tournaments across Canada. Roland, and his staff, currently offer private and group tennis lessons at Tuxedo Tennis Club and Taylor Tennis Club. Summer camps for juniors are offered throughout the summer months at Tuxedo Tennis Club.
